Moon Awareness

Moons of cleansing,
when watered down by denial,
is a lost opportunity for creative mind
and free flow of inner connection
to the core creator in all us women.

Denial of honoring that essence sweltering of womanhood
is a self-oppressed connection to the inner goddess body.

Bloating is no doubt unpleasant,
but when aware of my
body being and in tune with the emotions behind the body pain,
I am enhanced and revitalized with creativity.

I do not pretend to understand the waves of emotions
that ride my being at this holistic time.
I engage in awareness so as not to miss the messages
I as a woman bleeding, can only behold in all it's glory!

Sometimes, on the occasional month
I will whine like a tired child,
and other times
I may wish for someone to seed me a strawberry
and dip it in a rainbow of flavors
while not looking at me or crowding my bloated curvature and
grand sweltering dimension of size.
Just let me be, leave me by myself
to just be a woman bleeding.
This is my sacred moon time, this is my renewal.
Let me be.

Core me an apple and feed it to me without touching it.
I am on a pedestal and the queen being through this cleansing.
I can be and allow for my monthly goddess passage.
Carefully fighting the urge to denounce the poor being who
is clueless enough to still be around
my radiating, un-directional, un-calculated,
emotionally-ignited energy field of splendor,
while I stroke and my moon time with greed.

Bleeding free of radicals and dust
that collects for a time of dormancy
is refreshing
and sends a reminder that my body is working,
healthy, alive and I am a woman.

This moon time is an opportunity
to reevaluate my womanly direction.
To re-define my motives,
and check for discrepancies of my own morals.

This moon of adult womanhood,
when I am in harmony with the messages,
allows the self to present my gifts creatively
with increased adoration
that is reflected from the moon and elaborates,
and intensifies the meaning.

When connected,
my creativity expands beyond the baseline of my daily Zen.
Minuets of creativity pours out onto pages.
I become mystified and protective of my moon
and treat it like a precious secret garden only I behold.
I prepare for cave time and space.

Moon time has given life to my creative seeds and desires,
reminding me I am a woman.
It grounds me to my being,
instructing my attention to the self.
It intensifies my own misgivings and my grace-givings
so I may visit and let go with closure or keep.

I question and puzzle over those women
who deny this monthly passage as a gift.
Self-proclaimed healers may fair well
allowing this freedom and celebration of this
sacred moon time.
A time of renewal, a time of reflection, a time of awareness.

Ride the emotions and heal through tears,
and shed the gathered information in the dormancy.
The thoughts and feelings that are now,
fully moon emptying out as creative pieces
drying up till the next break of moon shadow.
